Blocked Sunscreen
This four month project was to create a branded product that will aid in behavioral changes of a specific audience. I chose to create a sunscreen brand that will change young adults behavior of not wearing sunscreen or not prioritizing it. Blocked Sunscreen is sun protection that is fast and easy to apply for people on the go with roll-on application that will leave your hands clean and grease free. When it comes to SPF, this line only offers SPF levels that are high protection for all different skin types and preferences. The requirements for this project included: - Researching our product and completing a competitive analysis - Creating a strategic direction for an integrated campaign - Develop a brand and product line - Hire a contractor (another student), provide a creative brief, create a timeline, and collaborate on the creative - Media buying for chosen mediums of the campaign The integrated campaign goal is to create a relationship between sunscreen and fun that makes the use of sunscreen more approachable and achievable for young adults. This is done through comparison between everyday routines and sunscreen use to make it seem more realistic and easy to implement.
