BASF Community Giving Story

As an intern at BASF, I was able to work on this project that the communications team had been wanting to create for many years but didn’t have the time and resources to execute it. The goal of the project was to create a roadmap showing how BASF Canada Agricultural Solutions is making an impact in communities across Western Canada. I created this infographic to illustrate the journey of how the money is distributed to communities and to tell the story of how they are helping the communities they are in. The sketches I have included show what I envisioned when given this task to compare to the final product. We decided on a horizontal format since this will be the most easily translated across digital and print media. For instance, when viewed online there wouldn’t be a need to scroll and for print media it could easily be used in a landscape orientation or downsized to fit in portrait orientation. This community giving story infographic was created as the first of many future infographics which will show the different ways in which they donate and other areas they want to highlight the story of. I created additional assets of for future creations which included different paths, icons, layouts and colour options.
